Williams broke his ankle in pre-season

It may not have been the best performance, but I bet a 3-0 victory was a welcome result for you boys who travel to all the away games. When was the last time we got a result like that on the road?

    RE: best performance ?

No more Vodka for Moose. very lucky first half, first goal came straight after an amazing block by Tonge. we could easily have been 2 down at that point!

Now you say that I suppose I could have over estimated. I find it more difficult to tell when you sit in the open as we did. Good view of game though.

No more than 150 last night...

Great performance but agree with Berserker- could quite easily have gone the other way in the first 25 mins of the first half. Burns was very strong in midfield and him getting stuck in helped us get through the dodgy period. Great goals tho!

to save me reading through all the pages of peoples opinions on last night game (most of which who only listened on radio like myself) how did you feel we played?

Rode our luck to start with but defended quite well. As Harrow says Burns played well in midfield but Nicky Wroe had a poor game. Bazza played better and held ball up well on occasions. Two excellent goals in first half which I await to see again on the highlights as they were down the far end. Dominated for long spells in second half and could easily have had 2 or 3 more by the end. Colgan played well! Devaney still not really totally convincing on the left. Think Howard will get his chance as soon as he is fit. Hayes has class and can turn a game. Looks like he could be well worth the 150k. Oh, and the ref gave us nothing!

we did play well - we stuffed three past them without reply. luck might have played a part but it's about time some of it went our way!
