    Fantastic result at the weekend.

I haven't managed to go yet this season due to the birth of our second child last week but I am quite pessimistic about our changes this season simply due to the fact that we are being left behind financially. This isn't anyone's fault at the club and certainly not Keith Hill's, it's just a fact. The activity on transfer deadline day could not emphasise the gap more.

I am pretty sure that Hill is the best man for the job, prepared to work within a very small budget and noises (from very few admittedly) for his sacking last week were ill considered in my opinion. The last thing we need is upheaval and if we do go down, we should stick with him; continuity might just work. We will be on the end of similar beatings to Brighton this season, I just hope there isn't a knee jerk reaction from a small section of supporters everytime this happens.

If you look at the team sheets from Saturday and compare the team that has been cobbled together by Hill and the millions spent on the Bristol City team (Championship also-rans) then it puts things into perspective. If we manage to stay up this season it will be a huge achievement. Anything beyond that then I reckon that Hill will have been snapped up by another club this time next summer.

I just hope we can get some investment in the meantime. We are a pretty decent prospect to invest in I would have thought.
