    But being born in New Zealand and having never received a full cap for any other country would surely mean he could still play for NZ wouldn't it? Unless of course he has no interest in playing for his country.

    Im not sure, I think that was the case with Freddy Kanoute at Mali. Maybe he's just not interested...
