The club took a lot of stick (justifiably) for their ticketing policy in recent seasons. So credit where credit is due, the ticketing for the Man U game has been handled very well. No real ticket rush to talk about, it seems like everyone has been able to get hold of a ticket who should be able to get a ticket. Personally I don't have a season ticket but haven't missed a home game this season. I have to say when the Reds drew Man U my heart sank, I thought I'd have a real struggle to get a ticket. But I have been proven wrong and well done to the club! On a different note, when is the club going to start using the fans database they have obviously got? When I picked up my Donny ticket they asked for my surname and asked me to confirm the first line of my address. She seemed to be picking my name from a list on the PC. I have been a season ticket holder and a centenary society member in recent seasons but when I didn't renew they haven't been in touch since. I would have thought it would have been worthwhile marketing people like me. I'm not moaning, just an observation....
Marketing A big effort was made contacting people who hadn't renewed their season tickets as this season approached. Suprised you weren't contacted then? People on here mentioned they were contacted several times.
I bought mine late Had a letter from Mr Cryne and Fozzy pleading with me to renew. I was only toying with you chaps
Let's see if it sells out I don't think it can under the current requirements for ticket purchase. If it fails to sell out it's a disaster in my opinion.
I'm not fcucking going loyal season ticket holder since day blob
Fcuck being ripped off
They can take my cash from bandwagon supporters and sky.
Unless I have some sort of mental aboration tomorrow morning which is highly unlikely.
Please note I'm going to pikecaster and giving 23 quid to ryan which pains me severely but I think I've made my point.
Hopefully a reasonable portion of other loyal season ticket holders have also stood by their guns.

RE: I'm not fcucking going I personally think that you my friend, are one of a very minor ******* minority...that should stay a minoroty!!!!!!!
pff I don't give a flying monkeys. Id rather not be a fcucking sheep.
I'm not your friend BTW.
If PC had asked me for a 50 quid to save the club at the start of the season i'd have given it.
If they say one thing and break their word it's quite another.
Oh and if its any consolation, I'll remain a "minoroty!!!!!!!" whatever that is.

just curiosity.. but why arnt you going? your obviously very annoyed and im just wondering your reasoning. because in my eyes the ticketing for this game, given the size of it in the view of our fans has been handled very very well. alot better than the farse of the chelsea game. btw i hope i havnt caused any offence by asking, and you may have already explained elsewhere but i don read every thread and your response has got me very intereted as to why your views are the way they are
RE: pff So did you go to the Burnley game & Blackpool home FA cup game 2 years ago and pay full price, or was you happy to only pay £15 & £12? What about the 2 home friendlys for free & other reduced cup games!? Swings and roundabouts, PC has my full backing!!!! He puts £1000's into BFC himself, time for us to put a few extra quid in!!! We have had good discount away at Lincoln & West Ham recently, home league cup games are often £10, I can't understand why you won't pay an extra £3-£6
Principle If the club had a written policy it should have stuck to it. BTW I've bought a ST, am a centenary society subscriber and go to almost all cup games so I think I give the club quite enough financial backing. I've not missed a home cup game since I can remember no matter who the opposition / competition / round. They can sell my seat to some plastic man u supporter
RE: Let's see if it sells out I think it will sell-out - a lot of youngsters who have never been to a match will be keen to go and I can see a lot of queueing up when the tickets go on general sale.
RE: Principle if its all about principle Spartacus and being ripped off, then you should stay away for good, if i thought i was being ripped off in a shop, pub whatever then my reaction would be the same, eg "ferk em i aint going back", I have a feeling your principles dont run that deep tho.
RE: pff His point is they broke the club charter. Would it have hurt the club to release a statement about the rewording instead of being sly about it? Fans are being charged extra to see Manchester United when we are going to watch Barnsley play not them.
watching man u Barnsley not playing that neet then? thats who am going to watch, price had to be agreed between the clubs for gods sake!
