You could have voted for hatred and prejudice as a solution to your ills. Instead you have voted for democratic socialism and an alternative based upon hope instead of austerity and hatred.

If only Britain had that choice.

The best of luck to you; I've got a feeling that you will need it...

Love the media reaction - 'how very dare they' basically.

R4 this morning didn't just ask questions, Sarah Montague putting forward the German/EU doctrine that there can't possibly be any alternative to throwing money at bank created debt, thereby bringing Greece to its knees.

BBC Yesterday - 10 min slot - 30 seconds on the facts, 9 1/2 mins of a financial expert telling us how naughty Greece are and that they just want special treatment

'm not sure you can celebrate them as some sort of model of socialist and left wing hope when none of them want to pay any tax into the state system...

The European govts and its puppet media will go to town on the Greeks now until they've said it often enough that everyone believes it.

Austerity is a lie perpetuated by the Establishment to refill the richest peoples pockets and in some cases to roll back the advantages the masses have struggled to gain.

Just run past those thickos (including me) where the hope and the hatred, as alternatives, comes from.

With this election, the Greeks have basically said - we will allow the hard working frugal Germans to pay for all our Schools, hospitals, roads and police force

Economics of the mad house ensues

so you've got a country that wants all the benefits without paying for it (taxes what taxes) and is likely to try to renegotiate its loans or even default on them effectively shafting the countries that bailed them out of the **** and you think that's good? kinell!!

My thoughts exactly..........but what else can you expect from someone who signs himself 'Redstar'.

Same old, same old story from the hard left.........let others pay..........because we don't want any responsibility

I wonder how this will be celebrated when they default on their debt and can't get credit anywhere. This signals a big problem for the EU which looking at the wider picture may not be a bad thing. I doubt they will govern exactly how they have promised anyway, not when they have to deal with the reality of being in power.

may I ask a question here

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-30981950

reading that link I get the impression they are going to try to re-negotiate their debts etc... kinda like some football clubs in the UK... Leeds... Portsmouth..... BARNSLEY... it was called administration if remember correctly.
Somehow I am seeing Greece going into administration... paying their debtors a few pence in the pound.

So in the UK the Govt chose to "Tighten the belt" ok call austerity if you like... but now I see petrol prices / gas prices/ electric prices... falling. I am beginning to see my shopping bill dropping. UK indeed "Tightened the belt" and now its getting better.... or am I missing something here.

The cost of fuel dropping is naff all to do with government; it's down to OPEC trying to kill the shale industry

    They haven't said this.

And don't assume you know what I think. I believe that everyone should pay their fair share as much as I believe everyone that can, should work.

    That is socialism.
