That's very good. I'm sure it will pay off for them. They better appoint a manager now who can get results. They have just let an excellent one walk off.

Must be sh1tting themselves about the prospect of playing in an empty stadium.

Think this was posted a few weeks ago. Whilst it is a gerenous offer in principle, I do believe that it will cause the fall of some smaller clubs in the area. There's Orient, Brentford, Barnet, Wimbledon and a few others just a stones throw away from West Ham. The lure of £230 to watch premier league football every week in a massive stadium is far more attractive than paying £350 to watch Orient in league 2. I know people who used to watch Blackburn as it was cheaper than going to Oakwell, and it was premier league football.

Anyone who can throw a stone from West Ham to Brentford, Barnet and Wimbledon must have been a shot putter in the Olympic Stadium.

I hope they're going to give the taxpayers of Great Britain a free ticket when their team plays at the Olympic stadium by way of thanks for paying for their massive new stadium for them.

Point taken, however all 3 are less than half the distance to the Olympic stadium than Blackburn is to Barnsley.

They've had a magnificent stadium converted into a top football ground and had it given to them for basically nothing.

Its the least they can do.
