Q2: Why the chuff have a chosen to listen to it? Actually, I know the answer to Q2. I hate fireworks, it's too hot and what they don't realise is the beach is a heavily policed "dry area". Haha. This is the view of Aucklands fireworks from the beach we were on in Devonport across the Harbour from the City. The cloud cover was that low all we saw was a cloud changing from red to blue to green etc. The Skytower where they launch the fireworks off has been stuck in clouds for days now.
