First keeper I remember watching was Springett - take any keeper from then on & Muller (injury free/ on form) is the best in my opinion. That last minute penalty save Vs Preston was one of my most memorable moments at Oakwell. It's hard to keep 2 keepers happy, and I'm glad Steele has signed, but Muller was (but for maybe half a dozen games) outstanding. A keeper who cammanded his area as well as being a shot stopper. Good luck Heinz
I am too I would have liked to have kept both but it was never going to happen if both wanted the no 1 shirt. Thanks Heinz and good luck
Best wishes, Heinz! I agree that he was an assertive and commanding keeper at his best, as well as being an impressive shot-stopper. I thought that he didn't seem to be quite the same following the injury, but maybe he just needs a new challenge.
Before his injury there was talk about him getting in the German squad. Whether he is good enough, only time will tell. But I agree that before the injury he was the best I've seen at Oakwell. Probably one of the best characters as well. Good luck Heinz, and thanks for everything.
