    A couple of days after Wilson was sacked I had oddschecker up to see what the best odds were on Rosler, so I had a tenner on him. The missus looks over, has no interest in football, and asks if she can bet on who the new manager will be....I told her to have a look at the list of names and straight away she said Lee Johnson. He was about 16-1 or something. Anyway me being me told her I would put a tenner on Lee Johnson, but actually didn't thinking no chance would he even be considered.

    Do you think I should keep quiet?

    I stopped my Mum from putting £5 on us winning 3-2 at the Stadium of Light in the pub before the game. At 33/1.

    'Sunderland are unbeaten at home, they'll win 3-0, best team to ever play in this league, yadda, yadda, yadda, etc. etc.'

    The rest, as Bruce Dyer knows, is history. Thankfully I was only 16 so there was no way I could cough up!

    Someone on her convinced me that he was going to be next manager 2 days after the sacking I got 16/1 and put £20 quid on it. Wish he'd been wrong.

    I took the piss out of me mate betting on us to beat Chelsea 4-0 at 80/1 in the cup so he switched it to 3-0. He was gutted when the forth went in. He romped home with a big win in the game odd job scored in though.
    He had a mad tenner on some daft bet and ended up with a grand or so.
