Now settle down, but.... i've just watched Kasprovic getting out at the end of that wonderful test match.. Firstly, let me say that it was the result everybody wanted and this series needed. What a match, eh? Kasprovic was caught behind off the glove. The side on video confirms that the ball definitely came off the glove...... but it also shows that Kasper was crapping himself and had let go of the bat. The glove was not near the bat when it was struck by the ball. Now settle down, but that is 'not out'.
RE: I don't know about cricket......either... I'm not the only owner of this colt, there are another four or five people. And I saw them at the races, two weeks ago, when the colt's sister was running (she lost). Our 'leader' brought up the subject of the colt's name and I got the feeling that he thought that it should be up to him to choose. So I quickly said that I had put a few names into the hat with the trainer. I really don't know what will happen and I won't push it because all of my partners do a lot more of the work than I do. He will race in October and I reckon he will have to be named in September at the latest. Right now, he is known as Zed around the stables (his parents both have 'Z's' in their names). I get the feeling that my 'tyke-ish' names will not get a run. As soon as I hear what his name is - I will let you know.
RE: well I never......yep I thought of that a bit later, like. There must have been about five batsmen who were gunned down or given a life. This was just the last one.
RE: Cricket his mind is not on cricket right now... He wrote to me and said that he had 'fallen in love with the most wonderful girl in the world'
