Today may just have topped it

I'm not for Man U or City, but to see the look on that cheating **** ashley young's face gave me a warm glow inside

Then you look across to Citeh and see the complete and utter disgrace that is Tevez celebrating like it means something to him.

    Pure theatre Dave, old mate

Even as a neutral, I found myself cheering like mad when Aguero scored.

but in 1989 football was a lot better in my opinion. before the money took the game away from working class folk, seeing millionaires splashing champagne around on a football pitch with their diamind earings in doesnt appeal to me im afraid

The match from 1989 was live on ITV and commentated on by the late great Brian Moore.

    Those were the days.

Remember it well was out somewhere and videos it and miraculously managed to avoid finding the result great finish to a season and I had a real interest in the game. Today I didn't care which bunch of mercenaries won didn't even watch or follow the action though I guess the last 5 mins were special if you were a real city fan
