and today it was much better, in all departments. The guy who said Kayodi had his worst game ever cannot have been there ..he played ok today. Howard did not have a bad game , it was not his best game but no means his worst. Muller and Silva shone out as class acts , as did Colace. To say that Moore was a liability is just plain nonsense, the guy put in a shift today and in the air was very good. Now the subs, they chanted "you don't know what you're doing" when JCR was taken off for Disco, quite Frankley JCR had a good game but ran out of ideas and steam,Disco came on and was fresh and had a few good moves. Also Devaney gave Hume a gift wrapped goal but he totally wasted it, and yes it was a worse miss than the infamous Odejayi Wembley miss.Simon also used his full amount of subs, unlike on Tuesday, and quite rightly took of Silva, the lad was buggered. In all it gave hope that the corner is slowly being turned.

We are getting a lot of conflicting stories of how we played. Was not there but a draw away from home must be considered a positive regardless of performance. It also ends a losing streak on leaves us hopeful for the next home match. One would suspect the newly returned players can only get better. Next Saturday will be an interesting game

    We are getting mixed views.....

because some honest and judge each game on its merits good or bad, but some people wont give davey a chance to turn things round, and there minds already made up cos they dont want to be proved wrong.

Yeah i know what you mean 7 games 1 win 1 draw and 5 losses bottom of the table scored 4 goals & 8 against and yet people wonder why his position is up for debate!

And also to add into that there doesnt seem to be any real positives to look upon other than relaying on ADS to keep us up!

I've got a positive. After 7 games you would expect the bottom team who have lost 5 times to have conceded more than 8 goals. We are losing by the odd goal, not getting thrashed. Not as much wrong as the doom mongers would have you think. He needs to find a goal scorer. Simple as!

Pontyender, because your logic and cognition are appropriately in place to identify a problem with the strke force do you think that Davey posesses the same attributes. I don't
think he does and as a result, this team of ours will continue to "go downhill". I don't think it will become obvious to sigificant others (Board and pro-lobbiest) until he has
taken us down. The last person who understand to have made the comment that the tide will turn, was king connute and look what happend to him. Except this man Davey
may just well drown in his own egocentric importance, while holding the hand of his aggresive assistant.

I'm sorry but where do you think the money will come from

Davey is probably well aware we need a 20 goal a season striker, as does every side in the division but how do you think we can afford it? Even the £1.2million doesn't buy you a proven 20 goal a season striker so you have to gamble on someone who has the potential

BFC Assesment.. I have been to all games this season

And 99% of last season, my judgement of Davey is well know, i was impressed and stated on this board by his efforts early last season although i knew there was big problems after the Paul Hayes farce.
We have continued in a vein of tactical stupidity and for me his true colours have emerged sa a poor tacticen and man manager. I know of the unrest and feeling in the dressing room and i also know that he has got no one to "communicate" with in respect of football advice, thats even if he would listen because he has EUFA badges you know.
we will probably lose next week to Norwich as they are a good skill mix with a physical presence, but unfortunately the draw yesterday has bought Davey some more time. The fact is results do not lie and we have lost games this season because we were second best in front of goal. it does not make one bit of difference if it was the odd goal... we still LOST. and nothing will change that.
I want what i feel is best for this club and my assesment is made from All the games i have attended both home and away, and the unrest of the team
Yesterday was a good advert for 2 very very poor sides, Southampton were the better team which is very concerning. as i think at this rate both teams will be in the bottom 3 at the end of the season.
The fans got some stick about their abuse of Davey about his nationality, i think that was bang out of order, however for those who attended away games you will also note that these guys are always there come rain or shine so if they are not happy then they have the right to voice their opinion, if we continue in the same vein next week then Davey should be ready for some more "dissatisfaction" from the crowd The bonus will be is that Cryne will be at the game next week for the first time at home this season.

    Can i ask one question

And absolutely I value your opinion and think there is some truth in what you said although my opinion is that on balance Davey is doing a good job given the constraints we have of being a small team with low attendances in a division of very big teams with bigger draws and finances than ourselves.

But, if we do start to pick-up points - not win every game because thats unrealistic - but on an upward trend then will your opinion change? I only ask because I think some people, and not aimed at you, have backed themselves in to a corner with Davey and even if we won the next 10 when we lose the 11th they will say told you so, all luck and Davey out.

if we win the next ten then he has obviously identified the faults, put them right and learnt by his mistakes.

he can make a start by dropping moore and KO. however his stubborness is probably the main reason why so many on here are asking for his head, there are issue's thta everybody can see except him.

But to be fair there's not even a concensus on here about those issues

Lots of people think Moore's not good enough, some think he's doing really well. In fairness its hard to say the defence is a problem, we've let in 2 in the last 4. The problem is scoring goals. Similarly, some people think KO is useless, some think he creates chances and unsettles defenders and gives us another dimension with his pace.

anti-Davey people saying he's stubborn are basically saying he doesn't agree with their opinion and assesment

    To be pedantic

He was actually proving to people who were worshiping him that a king can't stop the tide and is a mortal like them and was proved correct. One of the great misconceptions in history.

It still made me laugh though!
