that ******** was just cutting people off and imposing his own view all the way through. One caller tried to explain to him how he couldn't possibly say it wasn't intentional when Hume was already laid outas the ball arrived but he couldn't get it. What an arsehole. </p>

Kept saying that he thought Chris Morgan wouldn't delibaretely go out to hurt another player yet also kept saying the incident 'looked bad'.

The presenter was sticking up for the actions of Chris Morgan by saying things like "I know Chris Morgan and he wouldn't do that"

Didn't people say similar things about the Yorkshire Ripper ???

Think a complaint to BBC should also be put in along with the FA one

 

Same old Radio Sheffield. I for one do not give them the time of day and fellow Barnsley supporters should do the same.

How can giddings have HIS opinion that he didnt mean to hit him, but others are not allowed theirs that they thought he did!!!!

He is usually the worst of the three main presenters IMHO.

 

Keep listening to Radio dee dar....then On Satdi...........get near the press box

If he had any skill as a journalist, he would facilitate the calls and get people to open up and express THEIR opinions, not join in what is little better than a 'My dad's bigger than your dad' type school playground debate.

Sadly, it is the only slightly credible outlet that Barnsley fans have to express their views on Radio now that Hallam seem to have washed their hands of football.

Sadly, I don' think they give a stuff either way about Barnsley and it won't bother them if Barnsley fans don't contribute. In fact, we should continually badger them from now and make life as uncomfortable as possible for Giddings & co.

Barnsley is almost a seperate entity in S Yorks. Geographically, It's closer to West Yorks than Sheffield and Barnsley people speak totally different to the rest of the region. Barnsley people tend to be more down to earth and a bit more blunter in their opinions. They often have a different mindset and so we have that old phrase that Barnsley is the 'S Yorkshire Socialist Republic'. For those reasons alone Radio Sheffield tend to marganilise them.

They have 5 other clubs to cover anyway who they continually show more affinity with, so won't miss Barnsley.

I disagree every radio station needs callers and listeners. If they are not interested in Barnsley why even bother give them the opportunity to continue to belittle our club..

Giddings is a disgrace, Morgan was a liability when he played for Barnsley and how anyone can say there was no intent this time around is plain stupid.

He kept saying the only person who knows for sure if it was intentional or not is Chris Morgan. That's fair enough but if you are going to cut someone off for saying it was intentional, you should cut off those who say it was accidental. Thus what he kept saying works for both sides of the arguement. Plus he's suppose to be impartial.

he was at the match and he's the most accomplished
