    Agree to a point

no pun intended, would have settled for a point at the outset but and its a big but, Reading sounded absolutely woeful and surely if not totally there for the taking could have been vulnerable had we had more of a go,also on that point had they not been piss poor in front of goal we would have probably been undone once again by our away 'tactics'.Still as is often pointed out on here I was'nt there and stand to be corrected by anyone who was.

We get no credit for making them 'woeful' then? How can you say that a team who have been in the top six all season were 'there for the taking'?

Because, ON THE DAY, they were ****!. Their league position doesn't alter that.

'ON THE DAY they were ****'. I say again, we had nothing to do with that then?

perhaps we did. What I'm saying is that, if we'd gone for it a bit as well, we could have won it.

We have to go for it at some time as draws in every game won't keep us up, so why not in a game where it transpires that it could be won because the home team are ****.

Haven't been today but just spoke to my dad who went and he said Reading were there for the taking just the same as Watford and Forest were. Negative in the second half again and sat back, Bogdanovich on the wing is unreal especially when Macken is woeful on his own up top.

Would have taken a point at the start of play and im pleased we got it, just wish we would try to win games instead of trying not to lose them.

    look

face it its a forum for debate and some people won't agree with you my point was it sounded that despite it being a battling point that Reading had more than a few chances to win it and that as the game went on we seemed to be sitting further back as usual. It also sounded as though Reading were down on confidence -their crowd was certainly having a go at them - and may have been vulnerable at the back and as we are running out of games we just might have missed a chance of an extra couple of points ( we had some chances but we sounded our usual clinical selves at finishing). As I said I am prepared to be corrected by anyone who went. You obviously did'nt so what makes your opinion any more valid than mine at this point?

Bringing Mifsud and JCR on together for the last 15 to 20 minutes doesn't sound negative.

Are you directing that at yourself? I'm disagreeing with you like you say I'm entitled to on a forum. No abuse, just debate.

there was certainly no abuise on my part I gave my opinion for what it was and said I stood to be corrected where as you (IMHO) steamed in with a different opinion that you seemed to think was irrefutable .

You're being ridiculous. I didn't steam in at all; I just put forward a different opinion. I wasn't accusing you of being abusive either. I was saying there was nothing wrong with any of my posts - that's what 'no abuse, just debate' meant. You were talking as if I was being abusive rather than just disagreeing with you.

That being someone with 2 goals in like the last 20 games or so. But we have our best striker out of position on the wing for our lone striker. Yet at Blunts Boggy in centre got us a goal.
