    I would be wanting to know why he chooses the eve of a match where we are already struggling with attendances to come with statements like that.
    Given his record with us league position PPG etc I would be explaining that a bit of humility rather than his long (and it has to be said increasingly tiresome) long list of excuses would be better received amongst my paying customers.
    It also has to be said that all of us would love continuity of management and recent turnover has been more to do with ineptitude at the top in picking the right man and that every one in recent years has been the architect of his own downfall. (mind you if I were his boss I would leave that last bit out!
