I'll certainly settle for three points when we've been scrappy.
Onwards and upwards.

How bad were Watford. I couldnt quite believe we were 1 down to them but it showed how important Anderson is to us today (Leon was non existent) and to some extent Disco. On todays performance Journos comments on El Hamour are spot on. He was poor!!

Have to agree with El Haimour. Think Devaney is way better than him.

I think it's fair to say

That Odejayi (with that first half miss), Leon & El Haimour failed to grab their opportunities today to stake a claim for a regular place in the starting line up. Watford looked a side short on confidence and ideas, but we weren't playing that well, either. However, once Watford had scored, I worried that we'd struggle to get something out of the game. I was just about to mention to Jay that I couldn't see an equaliser coming when Mostto scored!
I then chose to keep a diplomatic silence! :D

Odejayi

I know he missed a sitter, but his presence caused them a lot of problems. Had a few good flicks ons and like I say, other than the miss I thought he played very well.

Perhaps I'm being unfair on the lad

But how many were shocked when he missed the chance? It's hardly the first time he's missed that sort of sitter. The effort he put in today was very admirable, but ultimately all strikers are judged on their strike rate.
As it happened, it didn't affect the result and I for one have no intention of dwelling on it. This has been a horrible week for the club and I'm overjoyed that we have ended it with a much needed and deserved victory.

It was a terrible miss

Just that I think his overall game was pretty good, he had their two centre halves struggling.

Completely agree on Leon and El Haimour though, didn't take their chance at all.

The one thing that impressed me with him

Was his willingness to work for the team, epitomised by one particular moment in the first half. He'd sloppily given possession way, but redeemed himself by racing 40 yards after the opponent and tackling back, in front of the East Stand.

For what seemed like an average performance, it felt like we could have won that game by 5 or 6. Macken hit the bar, K.O missed the one on one, and their keeper made 3 excellent saves (Macken, JCR x2).

3 points, and 6 points clear from the drop zone.

We made it so hard for ourselves today BigLil

They should have been dead and buried in the first 15 mins.

The longer the game went on, the more you knew they would get back into the game and they did.

Plenty of nervous moments, especially towards the end!

Despite that..

He's better coming on as a sub.
He scares the defenders to death!
