...........Its going to be a difficult one for the directors to call ............what happens if they throw us a googly...........such as Noel Blake
If they are in tune with the supporters and the game, even slightly, then I don't it's a difficult decision to make.
if they were in tune with fans on friday, it wouldn't have been flicker. i'm 100% behind flicker now, but i think if the decision had been made before yesterday's game, it will have gone a different way. i seriously hope i'm wrong
It's not unrealistic to think that an approach to another manager might have been made before yesterday's game, when the consensus was that the masses didn't want Flitcroft. More than one on here declaring they'd be staying away if he was in charge. Club listening to the fans, I think that's called. So what are they now supposed to do? Phone this other fella and tell him the deal's off?? They can't win - they'll get pillocked either way.
you're right mickey. if flicker leaves the Club, The Don will get slaughtered. again. the majority of those who wanted 'anyone but Flicker' before 3pm yesterday, will refuse to acknowledge their share of the blame. i was in the anti-flicker camp before yesterday's game, and i'll be the first to hold my hands up. i'm bricking it..
They would have reached the same conclusion before the game. Only Higgy had more votes and he wasn't, or shouldn't have been, a serious consideration.
