    well we were told at one point....

    that Richie had listed several Players he was interested in....so why, after the first 2 or 3 went tits up, did we not progress them.

    Again, that was obvious yesterday, we could not or would not pay the price of the players we wanted. Let's face it, we could not afford a deal rising to £1m could we?

    I think if you asked the fans....the real ones....their views

    then I think you would see that at least 80% or more were convinced we would be welcoming new players. Furthermore if you ask the same lot I think you will find them totally 100% pissed of and deflated now.

    Neither am I.

    Look at it the other way, Ritchie has given the current crop of players - his players, a set of lads he has moulded in his image (without the baldy bit) - a real big up, he's saying to them, I believe in you, you have what it takes, now go out there and prove it. Well done to him.

    Don't buy that though..

    he DID go for players but was not able to get them. I'm sure he does have faith in the squad, but knows that a few will not cut it. As such he tried to sign a winger yesterday as he knows that Disco is not the man and needs at least pressure on him.
