While I have never criticised the club's pricing policy regarding tickets, I'm afraid the arrangements for obtaining them are a vey different matter.
A helpful steward gave me a raffle ticket and told me that I would probably be due to be served in about 3 hours. I can't get back in three hours.
Looking at the queue, now in it's fourth day, and the people huddled up protected from the cold, reminds you of a soup queue in a third world country.
No matter what, I have no choice but to queue tomorrow if it takes the whole day, cos there's no way I can get back before Saturday. It will mean a couple of other things I need to do will have to be put off, other arrangements made and other people to make allowances for me. If I can't get my own seat by then, then someone else can have it and I'll watch it on the box. I missed Liverpool and if it comes to it I will have to miss this.
Considering all the other dilemmas, far worse than mine, it seems a strange andunfeeling way to deal with your customers. BFC must surely learn from this and the previous debacle and try to ensure a better system in future. I love my club but there's only so long I am prepared to stand like a frozen waif to buy what they are offering.

same here start work at 1pm. couldn't wait 3 hours and can't get a short notice hol for love nor money. what's wrong with good old ticket buying online?
RE: same here I asked the box office staff that and was told that for The Chelsea game they specifically needed the voucher from your ST book.
Why there can't be a facility online where you register your Patron Code thus ensuring that your ST book cannot be used again to nab extra tickets I don't know.

The whole thing could have been a lot simpler...
...if ST holders would consider the possibility of sitting somewhere else for once. Most of them aren't getting their extra seats next to them anyway. It's like dealing with thousands of bloody kids.

RE: The whole thing could have been a lot simpler... I think the whole thing can be blamed fairly and squarely on part timers pressurising proper fans who hold a Season Ticket into getting them a seat.
Have you got your ticket yet? I have. I'm currently waving it about in the air doing a one man Mexican wave.
It's difficult to take your complaint seriously When you were so dismissive of other people who had complaints of their own.
Agreed. It's about time the club announced that those holding season tickets this year are the only people welcome at Oakwell, for the rest of time. And those that go to away games on top of having a season ticket, can have a free pie. They will need to collect their free pie on Tuesday lunchtimes though, at the turnstyles.
Nope Taking BFC's advice and taking advantage of the fact I have a week and a half to get my seat. However, I work for a living so am somewhat stuffed for getting my raffle ticket.
I thought id do as i was told and leave it till this week to go and get my tickets but by the sound of it things dont sound much diffrent from last week! i dont fancy going down and been told to go back in 3 hours or whatever with mi little pink ticket. I will have to go on wednesday at the latest but i really feel like saying stuff it and watching it on telly if things dont improve.
They need to sort out this whole pie/cake thing too It's very confusing. They should decide once and for all what type of baked incentive they're going to offer and stick to it.
Then please don't old chum
As I said, I have not had any problem with the pricing policy, but the system of sales, now in it's fifth day is inadequate.
I didn't fly off the handle like some, for the sake of two quid, in such away that I needed to edit my post because of the vehement content.

I think you'll be able to go to the front of the queue tomorrow with your pick ticket....thus risking the wrath of people who have been there for 3 hours!
