Proves that Ben and DW are doing work behind the scenes... The first of many through the revolving door at Oakwell this week...

DW had said he had 10+ players shortlisted before end of last season... Watch this space!

Bailey can play RB and R/CMid... described by Nigel Clough as "determined midfielder who has impressed every time he has played"... Good reputation, still young, experienced and at peak of his career... Assuming he does play in central midfield he would be ball winner, allowing Hourihane freedom to advance to support forwards...

What a prospect compared to last years shower of ****. Dawson and Perkins, were both grafters but a weak central pairing, no presence or dominance in the middle, they were out played and out fought in ariel and distribution was poor...
Bailey and Hourihane, young, energetic and tall midfielders... They both come with high praise from former managers and fans... They both have presence (height) to win the ariel and physical battles, described as determined and energetic, Hourihane can add goals from central midfield and Bailey break up attacks....

At least another 4-5 signings and we will be set. In DW we trust...

    COME ON YOU REDS!

Central midfield was our weakest area by far last season so good to see it being addressed. The proof will be in the pudding but looks like a good signing to me.

Love it when inbound transfers fly under the radar like this. Much rather it this way than be subject to speculation for weeks on end.

Add in Digby, Abbott, Jennings etc and we've an exciting young midfield. Right winger in next? Maybe Mackay-Steven?
