after having an hernia op, well serves him right, carrying such an heavy wallet stuffed with white fivers. Get well soon pal.
Cheers mate.... ...that morphine & whiskey combination really seems to be numbing the pain. Should be back at work in 3 or 4 weeks. Looking forward to seeing you down in the Exec Bar with a pint o' smooth sometime soon.
RE: Cheers mate.... Fighting fit for Crimbo eh, doing the Lambada with your Gert in the Masons come New Year's, don't forget to wipe your feet when you come out, they say that the Hoover's got mudflaps.
ff How'd you get the hernia Red? Reason i ask, is that many years ago on a building site i witnessed some bloke lift 3 bags of cement (possibly equivalent to 6 bags in today's measurements/ weights) and a bulge popped through his 'tracky's' - he fell about in pain, writhing around in busted bags of cement;, and we later told he'd "popped his hernia".
RE: Oh , sounds nasty Aye! lad was in proper pain.... Typical building site humour though - wveryone cracked out laughing, making remarks.
Appeared in March whilst on holiday in Florida, must've been our lass's heavy bloody suitcases! Been waiting 8 months for the op and I have to say that the service and after care up at Barnsley Hospital Day Surgery Unit was first class!!
