    Everyone in the team played their part. No one, for me, let the side down with all making a contribution. However, special mentions to McLaughlin, Jennings, O'Grady & O'Brien. Blackpool, totally out classed from the first minute to the last, were the dirtiest team I've seen at Oakwell for quite some time. After the match, it was great to see so many happy BBSers, Jay, barnsley66, Redstar, Thrappo Tyke, Doddy & Doddy jnr., Eaststand Lower & DeeTee all with big smiling, happy, contented faces.
    I'm going to enjoy tonight.:D

    just goes to show what a PROPER manager can do

    and please do not take that as a go at either Hill or Flitcroft. Both gave it their best but quite clearly were just not experienced enough at this level. NOW we have a guy who is, we have hope Sir...... and maybe some red wine too

    Delighted with the performance JLW. BUT: That is the worst team I have seen at Oakwell in a long time. See how we get on against better opposition. Team did look a lot more balanced though, no passengers today either. Even Kennedy had a decent game.

    You can only beat what's in front of you and we did. Comfortably. League wins have been very few and far between this season, so I'm going to enjoy it.
