It seemed to start pretty much okay and then went completely off the wall when Jet Li started messing with Pianos.</p> Why on earth did Morgan Freemen sign himself up for that one?</p>
I didn't mind the film. Wouldn't normally touch anything with a hint of martial arts in it but the story intrigued me. The fight scenes were predictably ridiculous but the rest was better than expected. I can't decide if the role was really easy to play or if Jet Li can actually act. It just looked like, with the half U.S. half British cast, the silly acrobatics and the touching storyline, they tried to reach too wide an audience but I doubt they really hit the mark with anyone.
I've seen Jet Li in a few roles, thanks to my karate/kung fu watching kids and he's not too bad. I admit that when he first came onto the scene he was awful whenever he had to deliver a piece of dialogue but he's always been **** hot in the action department.</p> But then again he doesn't really have a lot to live upto to does he?</p> Only......Bruce, Jackie, Chuck, Eric, Steven and Jean Claude......to name but a few!</p>
