Very disappointed after witnessing that truly awful and totally unacceptable performance yesterday.

History now just like Flicker. He did his best I suppose but the job was obviously just too big for him.

Anyway great to see some old friends again, Biglil, B66 and Jay even if they did lay the defeat on me for making the trip. :D

I also met Sparky and had a pint, well in fact 6 pints with him. Good guy. Thanks for your company mate, it was appreciated.

So who do we want in the hot seat?

Which hotel / b&b did you choose in the end, and was it okay? (Can you say on here?)

Glad you got home okay. Sorry the game and performance was so poor.

You will see different names mentioned on here for the manager's job, but not being from Barnsley yourself, I am interested in who you would want!??

    Glad you're home safely, mate

You bloody jinx! You've seen two home games this season, Barnsley 1 Watford 5 & Barnsley 0 Birmingham City 3!:D It's all your fault!!:D:D
I have an open mind as to who the next manager should be. I notice your suggestion hasn't been mentioned yet.

Pat Fenlon? His name was touted this time last year, wasn't it?

    Craig Levein

Based on his managerial abilities at club level (including Dundee United) rather than Scotland.

Spent the night at the Black Bull. It was ok but when I got back after spending the night drinking with Sparky the disco down stairs was in full swing. Thought I'll no get to sleep but I think drink and tiredness won and I got to sleep no bother.

I said to Biglil that a name which hasn't been mentioned but someone who I think could turn the club around is Craig Levein. Out of work ATM so would only cost a wage. He is quite tacticly aware which is something we have been missing lately.

    Just my thoughts.

Oh No Cambs. We'd be better with Pat Butcher.

    Lol.

Actually, Craig Levein is not a bad shout. I've always had time for him.

Certainly was a shocker L. My last game was Watford but at least they were a good team but Birmingham were not that good. Lack of effort, especially 1st half and little goal threat from us gifted them the game.

Ach I did think about coming in but I was a bit tired and I'd had a few with Sparky and the thought of getting up for 9 and the 5 hour drive home, the bed won. LOL

Ah well your loss mate. Seriously, I don't blame you with that amount of travel awaiting you the next day. I once drove from Barnsley to about 6 miles north of Pitlochry non-stop. I was shattered. We spent a week near Wick.

    Aye its 315 miles Barmsley/Dundee.
I've been to Wick once mate and never again. Found it a dismal horrible place. Of course I was with my ex wife so I don't suppose that helped. LOL
