We've made a very mediocre side look like world beaters.

Let's hope it was derby day jitters and nothing more

I disagree. Sheffield United came and did a job on us. We tried to break through, the effort was there, but we werent good enough, it's as simple as that.

And nothing will top Doncaster away performance wise! That was utterly abysmal.

No where near the worst we've played this season.

4-5 games under Wilson worst that that.

Still poor though and very disappointing.

A Wilson team would have probably been 3-0 down at half time

It was by no means the worst we've played this season. Not so much we were that bad, as they were able to stop us playing.

They were superior all over the pitch.

We miss a Williams/O'Sullivan type player. We were left humping it up front, like pre Johnson.

Disappointing, but let's face it we've never been consistently good enough this season to warrant a top 6 finish.

It was a Wilson team. We played exactly the same way that we did against Swindon and MK Dons. We beat a few **** teams when we play the better ones we lose because at this stage the team isn't good enough whoeve the manager is. I being kind given our worst two players were Johnson signings Stewart and John but overall you can't blame him.

A Wilson team beat them 1-0 on their home patch so that scuppers that argument.

    Crawley away ?

We we were very poor all over the pitch today maybe not as bad as a couple of games mentioned above but we just were not in it. Don't know whether it was the early start or nerves or what but It really was a poor performance

Now I'm home I'll elaborate. We just didn't turn up. Second to every ball. Nothing in midfield. Every time we had the ball at the back, we didn't have anyone within 30 yards of Nyatanga or whoever had the ball. We played 1 up front and Winnall again went to waste. Ibhere had a poor game in that role which meant the ball kept coming back to us. We defended well for the most part but should have done more to prevent that first.

I probably exaggerated a little by saying the worst we've played this year, but it's definitely up there and I didn't think they had to do much to beat us despite Keith Edwards saying that's the best they've played this season.

I'm with you Archey. Worst game I've seen this season. Woeful in all departments.

Fair play to the opposition who deserved the victory but our performance today was ******* pathetic.

Johnson got everything he could, wrong. Probably didn't recognize the triggers.

Might be the worst performance you've seen but nowhere near our worst performance this season, nowhere near.

I didn't see Crawley or Doncaster away. Maybe they were worse?

I dunno. But that was the worst performance I've seen. No attacking threat whatsoever, no more than three consecutive passes to each other (and that was between defenders under no pressure), hoofball, four central midfielders five yards behind everything, a lump up top who made Lita look lively, and a back four under far too much pressure ahead of a keeper who looked exactly what he is - a fish out of water.

Then we have to see fatty arbuckle waddle around the field as a 'gamechanger', and young Smith who was again unfairly dropped. I had to watch 5,300 **** basterds from Sheffield gloating, ole-ing, cheering, and our 'team' couldn't even muster up the passion to at least go through the back of that lovely person Brayford, nor could they shoot towards the white posts.

I won't take the piss, I'm not going to call for a managers head or declare how ***** they all are etc, but that was 90+ mins that meant summat to me. Just a shame that it 'appeared' not to mean much to a few wearing red this afternoon and an even bigger shame that Johnson ****** with a successful formula to fit in his own recruits who (along with Hourihane) were the worst offenders for us.

Crashed back down to earth? Naew. I expected us to lose and haven't bought into the idea that we'd make the playoffs. But I expected some graft, endeavour and a few shots at their goal.

It reminded me of a few games under Danny this season. Where we were bossed in midfield, out-thought and out-fought. Savvy, Johnson called it. He's correct. And that's what you get with a team consisting mainly of kids. But that didn't stop Danny getting it in the neck, so I won't be pretending LJ is untouchable when clearly, after today, he caused most of the **** we had to suffer watching with his own mistakes.

    Ah well.

    Onto the next un.
