we didnt play well and nardiello mssed the chance of a the game (through on goal where he is the one most expect to score but he flufed it) we came away with a point even though they should have scored many a time when all open in the box.

devaney had some sort of eye injury and hayes didnt do bad on the wide but as always we wwere trying to walk it in. know one knows who to shoot.

the goal came through the only bit of persistance in the game, a far post cross a header back in from hayes and nardiello othink it was battled ad the ball finally ended up bouncing off howards head on the line to go in.

the goal threw us a lifeline in a game when if we played properly we should have took all 3 because they were a poor side but even worse we were poorer for most of the game. we showed no enthusiasm and that was the real failing point.

now for the reid sending off, i didnt catch why he was booked the first time but every time the through ball came across the floor he tried a "mcphail" flick round the player only this time (like he'd looked like doin the previous four or five) he tripped over the ball, he then grabbed him and so called sacrificed himself because if not it was no points for us and i know id ratehr haeve a point and lose him for 2 matches then hang on to a thread to stay in the playoffs.

all in all it might have been a bad team performance but the only thing worse was the bland fish and chips.

Reid got a straight red for a professional foul...

not a second yellow. His yellow was for not letting Parker kick lumps out of him without pointing out the error of his ways and was extremely harsh.

yeah i suppose he did, he offered soem reassurance to the back

so its a tough one but colgan did well, no one really shone though, richards won a few in the air but no one ran on to them and even mcphail coulnt pass today he jsut looped it up allover the pitch

what do you think about the decision making

one the throw in by the linesman (i couldnt see them very well but there was a bad response to him giving it them once)

and also mcphails booking, when he flagged our way and then decided to give it the other instead and that resulted in the ref booking him. thought that was a stupid decision bending the rules abit aint it.

Linesman on our side was dreadful!!

Invariably 5 yards behind the play and having to make decisions by guesswork!

Ref - inconsistent and seemed to think that shirt pulling was legitimate, which the Blackpool lot quickly realised and spent much of the game dragging our lads all over the pitch!

How on earth did we not get a penalty when their no6 had Reid in an armlock/half-nelson and pinned him to the ground at one of our first half corners?

    they seem to think that..

shirt pulling is too harsh to be a penalty offence so they puff out of giving it

i dont now how reidy didnt get a pen though, the refs seem not to play by the rules they are supposed to control
