Why does the person who beats Phil Taylor, never seem to go on and win a tournment? Credit to Kirk Shepherd though. To qualify to his first world championship and reach the final, beating many great opponents on the way is an excellent feat.

If Shepherd wins it would be a great story. But if Part wins it would show a great return of form that he's lost in recent years and he's a top bloke.
