Explain why you said 'desperate' for Shipps. If our forwards had no goals yet fair enough we would be desperate from someone. But bloody hell even Tommy Wright has a goal. He did well when he came on today too, made 4 or 5 good tackles challenged in the air against 2 big defenders. Obviously getting another forward wouldn't be a bad thing but we are far from desperate for one

Both the front two were outstanding. Playing against experienced centre halves, they were kicked, elbowed, barged, and gave as good as they got. The pair of them. Richards scored and produced some lovely hold-up play...really don't know what the hell you were watching.

Workrate I agree about the phenomenal workrate. It is a relatively young team - so fitness shouldn't be much of a problem. I disagree with you regarding Richards. I enjoyed his performance today. I'm surprised you don't dig the similarity between Richards and Shipperley. At this point in time, I honestly would not prefer to have Shipperley in the team (as much as I admire him). IMHO, The money would be better spent elsewhere. Stephen

I really don't understand your attitude. Why would we want to spend what little cash with have on an injury prone journey man striker. Richards is rapidly improving, gives 100% every game and is scoring goals. What more can the guy do? In the end there is no guarentee that Shipperley is anywhere near as good as he was 5 years ago.

richards is the real deal give him another 12 months and we will have an excellant centre forward,listen me i was calling him crap when he first started playing for us.just shows you mr rich tea knows what he,s doing!
