Great game
But nowts changed
We are still desperate for Shipperley or someone as good
We need a centre forward
Richards dosen't hold the ball up well enough and he is poor infront of goal
And again, we had no cover in defence

But.......best match I've watched for years
AR is excellent
The work rate must be the best in this league

Richards was outstanding today.

Explain why you said 'desperate' for Shipps. If our forwards had no goals yet fair enough we would be desperate from someone. But bloody hell even Tommy Wright has a goal. He did well when he came on today too, made 4 or 5 good tackles challenged in the air against 2 big defenders. Obviously getting another forward wouldn't be a bad thing but we are far from desperate for one

Both the front two were outstanding.

Playing against experienced centre halves, they were kicked, elbowed, barged, and gave as good as they got. The pair of them. Richards scored and produced some lovely hold-up play...really don't know what the hell you were watching.

This is the Neil Shipperley..

who's out injured anyway?

You're clammering for a centre-half exactly in the mould of Craddock or Breen, and they were both RUBBISH.

Workrate

I agree about the phenomenal workrate. It is a relatively young team - so fitness shouldn't be much of a problem.

I disagree with you regarding Richards. I enjoyed his performance today. I'm surprised you don't dig the similarity between Richards and Shipperley.

At this point in time, I honestly would not prefer to have Shipperley in the team (as much as I admire him). IMHO, The money would be better spent elsewhere.

RE: This is the Neil Shipperley..

saw Breen play for sunderland against palace a couple of years ago and he was top class. Today he looked very ordinary, was that because he's lost it or because our forwards bossed him ?

RE: Workrate

Did you see the ovation Richards got when he was subbed, seems like most of the supporters are more than happy with his contribution, to be honest i wouldnt have swapped either Leon Cort/Carl Cort or Jay Bothroyd for Richards IMHO.

Neither would I

The Wolves forwards were useless lumps. Bothroyd didn't even look interested.

I really don't understand your attitude. Why would we want to spend what little cash with have on an injury prone journey man striker. Richards is rapidly improving, gives 100% every game and is scoring goals. What more can the guy do? In the end there is no guarentee that Shipperley is anywhere near as good as he was 5 years ago.

Richards poor in front of goal???

Ha tell that to the wolves goalie. he was the one who had to pick the ball out of the back of the net.
