Fair enough. I'd agree it sounds like the defence are going walkabout which is very worrying. But there's plenty of time and that all-important half-time team talk to come yet. And we've created a few chances (there's another for Howard now).

Not true mate - they've both been getting stuck in - of the others, only Brian Howard has had a mention

look I am sorry for the negativity but I am sick of being on the losing side now

we have had the odd flash in the pan but seriously we have had a pile of **** at the well for five or more years,its beginning to wear thin now....I have to travel 500 miles each time I go to Oakwell(today work stopped me thank God) but it does mean I have to splash out £70 - £80 PLUS each time....and what do I get more than a little....*****. The Board keep whining on about they need bigger gates at the 'Well .... if thats so then try giving us a worthwhile product. The loan players have all gone and so has the hope of any progress.And before anyone gives me the lame argument abot the dark days of admin then stop right now..thats HISTORY..and we STILL keep using it as an excuse for the peurile crap we get on a more than regular basis. I am lucky in some ways I live a good way from S.Yorks...I would be even more pissed off if I ha to face Donny/Wendy?Blunts/Hudds?Leeds fans on a monday morning after the latest fiasco.

From where I'm listening, admittedly, it sounds like we've improved albeit steadily

I'm optimistic during games - I save my despair for the final whistle - but try not to get carried away over the big picture. A mid-table finish will suit me very well this year, then aim for top ten next year. We're on target for that and after a massive upheaval over the summer hopefully we can move towards a settled side and the results that should bring, although we'll still be relying on loan players too I suppose. That's a fact of life on our finances and a few thousand extra on the gate isn't going to change that.

I suppose what I'm trying to say is that while I understand and often share your frustration I don't share your feelings of impending doom whenever we concede. I'd like to see us turn some deficits into wins (something we've been dreadful at) and maybe today is where it starts.
