Right from the moment I saw the name of Andy D'Urso, another useless Premiership official, I knew one team was going to be screwed. Should have known straight away it was going to be us.

I'll start with the Anderson incident. I'm not ENTIRELY sure of what happened but I'll give it what I saw from Gangway 14 of the East Stand. They tussled before the freekick was taken and Ehiogu threw Anderson on the floor. Anderson squared up to him and Ehiogu headbutted him. Blatant and obvious. Anderson went to retaliate, but Kozluk quickly stepped in to stop Anderson from doing so. Ehiogu rightly sent off...and then Anderson sent off!?! Like I said, I may have missed something from Anderson.

But then the incident that annoyed me most. The ball was up in the air, Hume jumps for the header, and Morgan quite clearly and viciously plants his elbow into Hume's jaw. (I was staggered that nobody actually attended to Hume for nigh-on a minute after the incident). It was one of the most blatant red cards I've seen at Oakwell in years, and somehow the card is yellow? Correct me if I'm wrong but elbowing a player is a red card, so surely its either a red card or nothing? Staggering and costs us our leading striker. To be fair to Mostto I felt he lead the line as well as he could.

Then Darren Moore seems to be wrestled to the floor by Morgan (he hasn't changed - no subtlety whatsoever) and again ignored, and then the stunner. A linesman 65 yards away giving a penalty against Kozluk for a ball that dropped over his right shoulder and probably bounced off his arm. The linesman could probably tell that it hit his arm from where he was but how is he supposed to judge intent? I don't see any reason that Kozluk would have handled that under no pressure.

Disgraceful officiating, and I'm sick to death of the refereeing in English football.

Call it the Premier Leagues nicely nice approach to Sheffield U as the feel guilty for that Tevez affair still. We don't want nor like Prem ref cast offs in our league. Agree with sendings off it helped them. An elbow IS an elbow end of. Red card.

I was having a crafty cig at the time in the area between the Ponty n West

They both squared up to each other but Ehiogu head butted Anderson.

From Gangway 5, Row I of the Ponty...

Anderson grabbed Ugo first, but no more so than you would when defending any freekick, and Ugo just took exception to it and threw him to the ground, with Anderson hanging on. Both then squared up... Ugo nutted him. Anderson was gonna hit it, he got his arm up ready, and Kozzie jumped in just in time. I never had any doubt that he'd send both off.

The Morgan incident was a complete and utter disgrace. Heard Davey with Pele after the game and Davey said his father in law had to take him home before the end of the game because he had all on to stand up, and hour after the incident. His face was completely swollen around his eye/cheekbone and could be out of action for a while. Completely intentional. He'd just seen his mate get sent off, and thought he was gonna try something before the dust had settled, and he got away with it.

The one thats got to me more than anything is the penalty decision against Moore. I was looking straight at them. Morgan just completely wrapped his arms around Moore and as soon as the ball was kicked just pulled him down. As soon as they hit the deck i looked at D'Urso and he had a perfect view. Smack on the 18 yard line he was. I was amazed he had the nerve not to give it!

As for the 'refs assistant', i'm not sure i can say anymore than you have pal. How can someone 65 yards away, running the line towards the ponty end, give a penalty at the other end? Thats quite possibly the worst decison i've ever seen in football, and its been 15 years of watching and playing!

The look on Chris Morgan's face after he fouled Moore in the box was a look I have seen

a million times before. He clearly knew he had fouled Moore and was waiting for the Ref to the spot - this look of guilt slowly turned to an incredulous one as he found that he had somehow got away with it.

That's exactly what I thought. Morgan KNEW that the ref would not have the guts to give 3 red cards in as many minutes and so gave him one whilst he could get away with it.

Disgraceful behaviour from Morgan and disgraceful officiating.
