We looked reasonably good until their 'keeper got sent off, then we were tactically inept, failed to take advantage and, ever worse, gave them the advantage. It was only when Reid's stupidity leveled up the numbers and, shortly after we went to a 3-3-3 "total football" set-up that we suddenly looked likely to not only get a draw, but, looked likely to snatch a win! Having felt rather pessimistic about the rest of the season to come, I left Layer Road feeling optimistic!
You should be banned from this forum! Fancy having the gall to post a positive comment on a match you actually attended! Those who watched it on teletext or listened to the (frankly awful) commentary on Barnsley World obviously have a better idea of how badly we played!
Good on yer mate!

Agree thought we did look ok until there keeper got sent off. What worried me though was how in thethirty mins or so that we had 11 men and they had ten, we niether had a shot at goal and conceded two. We needed a change in tactics to make the extra man tell but in fact it looked the opposite way round and we only had ten. Us going to ten men and the 3-3-3 formation turned it round thank goodness. Biggest issue for me was how poor our crosses were or the poitioning of our forwards
I was wondering what happened to good old fashioned shooting with the foot. Everytime we went forward we were looking for people to head in crosses and it wasn't working with them going either to the keeper or Stan heading two free headers wide. Look what happened when Kim came on and decided to have a good old fashioned shot. We won a penalty through handball.
Puts himself around, likes to try and score with his foot and his touch looks impressive. Could be starting against Plymouth based on what he did when he came on.
yes good touch for big lad. Start in place of Stan for me. Stan spreads play well but just lacking at moment in frount of goal
