Anyone reading this board over the last few weeks or The Chronicle on Friday would think victory was assured just by playing that system. I thought we looked much better against QPR and Birmingham.

I reckoned we needed 7 point from these 3 home games in order to stave off relegation considering our run in. So far we've just 1 point with Palace left to play and if we perform anything like today on Tuesday then I can't see anything coming from that.

We're a poor side. We've not replaced Howard who was a massive loss, so we've no goals or creativity from midfield particularly as JCR is out of sorts at the moment. Bogdanovic and Mifsud are ordinary at best and give us very few options up front. Macken is just as bad. I can't see where the goals are going to come from in order for us to escape relegation.

would that be your weak effort in trying to deflect the reality of the situation and avoid the issue of "the manager is sh*t". How about suggesting a 4-4-2 might have worked if there had been
an appropriate and goodenough person at the helm to motivate and guide the team

    agreed...

I thought we looked better with 4-1-4-1.

We've still 10 games left so 30 points to play for. We now have to beat Palace or I can't see where the points are coming from.

Your appalling attempts to psychoanalyse the manager never fail to amuse, please don't try them with me.

    In other words

the formation has got a lot less to do with things than some people have been trying to suggest.

What ultimately matters, it whether or not the PLAYERS PERFORM.

If your sugggesting JCR played on the wing then your wrong.

We played with 3 central midfielders and hammell switching wings. It definately was not 4-4-2

From one clown to another, should be pretty fair I would say.

El Haimour in any midfield weakens it.

Hammil and JCR wide, leave back 4 as it was and Hassell in middle.

why fecking play El handbag in a game we need to win, and JCR in where ever he wants position shows just how crazy this manager is.

I wish someone would pinch his fecking dossiers and just leave him a video of Danny Wilsons years at Oakwell. Stick to a system and the players will KNOW what they should do and not have to change how they think every match.

That said if those players out there actually cared about the position of the club, it certainly did not show.

It did'nt look 4-4-2 to me

It looked more like 4-5-1. Mifsud a lone striker up front most of the game until Macken came on. Wind blowing a gale and every ball lumped up field for a 5ft 2 striker to
try and win. Bogdanovic looked like he was playing anywhere except up front.

The tactics today were disgraceful. I had the impression that none of the team were sure where they were supposed to play. Looks like Moore was in their penalty area most of the game and quite frankly he never won a header.

We have one chance of survival and that is with a 'Stand In' manager after Davey is sacked this week.
