I thought we'd played well, looked organised, kept Bristol to 2 meaningful attempts and looked like we belong at this level. As bad as Millwall game was, today was so much better and gave me hope for the season. Then I've logged on here and everyone's a lovely person, - the manager, McCarthy, Davies, especially went out of their way to lose us the game it seems. Righty ho, logging off and doing something more useful instead, to paraphrase Vision On.
Same. I thought we were appalling in the first half against Burton, 2nd against Norwich & for most of the game against Millwall. I could understand criticism then. But today? Not for me, we’ve played well. We’ve conceded what to me looked liked two excellent finishes. We could easily have scored 6 today, 4 for Moore & 2 for Potts, McBurnie also had a chance which you’d expect him to do better with in current form. For the first time in weeks I’ve come away & been impressed. Really liked how we used Kieffer Moore & how we’d stopped our full backs from been exposed since the last two home games. Don’t blame you for logging off
I think earlier in the season people would have been more inclined to praise rather than grumble. It was a much improved performance, the crowd got behind the lads and they responded. But we desperately need wins and we've chucked one away, again, today. Frustration is boiling over and can you really blame anyone after the year and a bit we've had where we've won 3 out of 25 home games in that time?
The response on here tonight would have been appropriate 2 weeks ago after the Millwall game but we played well today. A few more performances like today and we might survive. We shouldn't play anyone better than Bristol except maybe for Derby if they have something to play for. We were infinitely better today than 2 weeks ago and a lot of people can't see that a 2-2 draw is a big boost after the garbage that was served up a fortnight ago.
