I know there's weeks to go but I guess there will be a slowdown now. The initial rush will settle and then it will be last minuters.
I'd be surprised if we get much past 20,000.
25,000 was a very realistic top figure.

It's on a par with the Play Off Final at Cardiff. The times we've took 30,000+ have been much more important occasions - a place in the Premier at stake and an FA Cup Semi.

A tad more realistic than Oxfords 40000.

Still good numbers to me. It's just good to see plenty of folk wanting to go.

Hope a few of those that are going also decide to try one or two league games between now and then- or after.

Yes I think the next 'big' sale day will be next Friday. I got paid today like - third Friday of the month for me. My old mate Vernon Visa paid yesterday...

Other than that it'll be slower, just ticking along. Reckon we'll shift over 20k but not too many more

Yup, and February is the skintest month of the year as the January wage pays off Christmas and the sales.

Looks like a sound decision by the club, not to go gung-ho and waste money. There was the novelty value of the visits in 2000 & 2008 i.e first time visits, so I think a following of 25000 would be excellent for a much maligned competition.

Regular watchers will be in the minority as at most JPT finals

Cost of a paper ticket is bugger all, maybe 5p max so not buying the extra 15,000 probably saved the club around £750 in printing costs.

You and I know this but the FA and Ticketmaster don't do anything at cost. I reckon we would have been charged a small fortune for over ordering , Ticketmaster taking on more staff etc. and the FA charging for no good reason. Not arguing with you man but if it had been £750, they would have ordered the extra surely.

You mean on that forum where less than 80 people are blathering on and on about 40,000, they're calling us "plastics"??

    The irony.

At least 50%+ of our crowd will know our players' names.

I can imagine in their end.

"Run ....... kick it......... oooooh ........ well done ......... run........ kick it...."

I was trying to get ours but kept getting a message telling me I didn't have the right permission to buy during the ST period...despite being a ST holder...logged on and activated.
