Extremely limited parking There is a large car park which is fine if visiting Wembley arena, but is nowhere near big enough for the Stadium, best bet is park and tube See this link for details http://www.wembleystadium.com/gettingtowembley/parking/
RE: Extremely limited parking I don't think they let you use the Arena car park at all for Stadium events to be honest. There's pretty much a 2 mile radius "no parking zone". They're encouraging people to park and ride. Tube is fine going in, but usually hold ups on Wembley Way on the way out.
RE: Extremely limited parking Your best bet is to park up at Watford station and get the underground. I live in Southampton and do that when I go. Very limited parking around Wembley.
went to the cup final last year. By far the best way is wht we did. Drove down to (I think) Stanmore. Parked in the station carpark and caught the train directly to Wembley. There in no time. Getting back from the ground was slower because huge crowds were queueing to the station, although I can't remember it taking more than half an hour.
There is tons of parking on the industrial estates that surround Wembley. Been a few times to the new Wembley for England games in car and used them. Ok you have to pay £10 but all within 10 to 15 min walking distance at most. You also get away a lot faster than having to take the Tube up to Stanmore or such places on that line like Queensbury or Kingsbury. If you want to go in on Tube, head to Queensbury or Kingsbury before Stanmore, a lot quieter but as easy to get to.
RE: went to the cup final last year. a mate of mine went to an england game a while back and he found an advert for some guy ho rents his drive out on big match days. Said it was really close to the ground and safe, secure parking.
Park at stanmore, end of the tube line in the station car park, only about a quid if it's the sunday and about a fiver on the tube, a doddle when we went with Morecambe to the play offs, there were morecambe, exeter fans plus a load of rugger fans going to twickenham, easy access, 10 mins most, from/to the m1 an all
Queensbury I used to live near Queensbury Tube station, should be able to park on the streets round there.
RE: Parked in IKEA when i went to England v Brazil Game IS that Brent Cross? That's where we parked for the play-off final, pretty convenient.
haha can you imagine what it would be like if everyone tried to park at wembley? u've gotta be joking. i do think ticket holders should get free travel on the tube though.
