Real disappointment for me - not a patch on Cardiff (or Anfield or Oakwell for the Chelsea game)
I was up in the 5th level - just wondering whether it was any better if you were in the lower level

two poor teams played football today. They didn't contest much. Davey lost us the match with his half time team talk.

was ok, but after the goal nothing. If we'd have gone 1 up inside 10 mins i think we would all say what a great atmosphere it was

Absolutely piss poor. There was more noise generated by 1000 fans at Burnley last week. Thats what 25000 'new' fans do for you.
Well that's it now, we'll not see em again until we play any of the big boys.

yes, definitely. ******* new fans, letting down barnsley with their turning up at wembley on mass. New fans are cnuts. We'd have been better off losing to our regular 7500.

    We should burn new comers.

Have a word with yourself, we lost. It's got **** all to do with loyal fans.

I've gotta agree though when he said it stifled the atmosphere somewhat. But I don't hold it against of the 'new fans' that went today. Just hope maybe some of them enjoyed it enough to want to watch us again

But at Cardiff 2 years ago

We had our regular fans and loads of "glory hunters" - probably mostly the same as those there today - and the atmosphere was great - from before kick off right to the end - New Wembley just didnt really do it for me

Not much point in turning up and sitting there like tailors dummies. The 7500 regulars you talk about would have made more noise on their own.
Looking forward to Preston next week. The plastic fans can **** off for me.

    Millenium V Wembley

two big stadiums with lots of plastic seats, reason behind the lack of atmosphere - early goal by paul hayes barnsley 1-0 up (atmosphere great) early goal by Ledley (atmosphere crap).

Not rocket science, bet the cardiff fans aren't having the same debate.
