Abhorrent as it is helping out the white *****, a workmate is driving down for the final and asked re. parking.

We stayed over and so parked at our hotel but experiences of those who drove down on the day would be appreciated.

    TIA

    The rev.

park as far away from Wembley as possible.

Getting in and out of Wembley by road is an absolutely nightmare.

Took us 2 hours to do the last mile to the ground.

    stanmore tube station

    or stanmore centre

decent pubs and plenty of parking 5 mins by tube from wembley park.

Get there before 11am though as it'll be full of caravans

Parked at Watford station, was free, easy trip to Wembley (but not back because they shut the tube stations), and John Hendrie was on the train.

    I've been to Wembley twice

The first time we drove down and parked at Stanmore tube station and the journey was a joy. Easy in, easy out. The second time we took a coach all the way to Wembley and it was a nightmare. Getting in and out of the last few miles takes hours. Park at Stanmore.

    RE: stanmore tube station

Agree with Stanmore, get tube from there to Wembley Park I think. After match we got straight on train and we were away. I think there's a car park at Stanmore station also.

    Could be hard wherever

as majority of all supporters will be coming that way (down M1).

Majority of Cardiff would have come down M4 and prob parked in the west of London.

A little bit further to drive but just of the M25, has a regular train service on Metro line to Wembley (though they'll have to check there's no engineering works) and probably reasonably quiet as opposed to the stations to the north of wembley.

    RE: Stanmore tube station

We used Stanmore for the semi final and it worked really well. Only thing I'd say is it will be rammed on Sunday cos Leeds and Donny fans will both head for there whereas there was onlu us v Cardiff.

Oh yeah and its worth parking a bit further afield and walking cos getting out of the Tube car park is a nightmare, complete bottleneck

If parking at or near the ground

Allow plenty of time. It took us over 2 hours to do the last 5 miles.

I would recommend Stanmore or Watford. Stress free way to go to Wembley. Driving in is a nightmare.

Best parking for Leeds v Donny at Wembley...hmmm difficult...

I'd say Birdwell would be safest!
