I'm assuming that's all that haven't taken them back and new sales. We sold well over a 1000 for the Boxing Day game
i would expect them to take more. they're all minted and only live down the road. barnsley fans have to sell their kids and go without food for a week, to fund it.
We sold around 1400 for boxing day didn't we? Will nearly half that number have taken them back? Would hope there'd be at least 1000 there tomorrow night and similar at Crewe if we win, despite the small number sold so far.
Would imagine we'll have a late surge ( couple of thousand ) for Wembley tickets on the week leading up to the game.
Have we got like another 8 games or summat before Wembley? Loads innit. If we're still in the playoff hunt, I reckon we'll add another 5-10k by then. If not, probs another 5k max I reckon Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We took an initial allocation of 25K of tickets and it is understood we can get more if needed. I think we will sell the 25K and perhaps a few more, maybe some are holding out for more blocks of their preference to be opened. As long as we have the same amount there as to Oxford fans give or take a couple of thousand then it will a good day. Its been said that Oxford have sold almost 28 K .. if we can do the same then that's a good deal of Wembley filled (90K innit) also you will perhaps be surprised at neutrals going along on the day... I bet a good few will do that.
Re: We took an initial allocation of 25K of tickets In fairness Oxford is much, much closer to London, they're having a great season and their tickets have been on sale a week longer than ours so I'd be surprised if they hadn't sold more than us at this stage. I reckon both sides will have C. 30,000 there, making for a great atmosphere and advert for the competition, as well as each club.
Re: We took an initial allocation of 25K of tickets Decent number, more than I thought we would have sold by this point. A bit of luck and we'll take 25k which is more than respectable, especially considering the number of people that couldn't care less about this competition.
Re: We took an initial allocation of 25K of tickets Should be a spike this weekend and into next when most folks monthly pay days fall. I'd guessed at a total of 22-23k total sales. So with a full 5 weeks or so to go I'm rather suprised and impressed.
Re: We took an initial allocation of 25K of tickets A spike when they open block five-four-fecking-eight so we can purchase 11 more tickets at the front. Wish they'd open it up to the scoreboard, Oxford did it and they were only selling the front half of each block.
