People dotted around today selling Wembley scarves. Were these sanctioned by the club? The sellers all had the goods in Sports Direct bags.Is Ashley profiting from bootleg merchandise?Any ideas?

Totally agree. Embarassing that we are selling for eight quid scarfs with half of Oxford on them. Bad enough half and half scarfs for the big teams like Liverpool and Chelsea.

Not that I'd get one but people get embarrassed far too easily. Why would you be embarrassed that someone else is holding/wearing a scarf?

It's the idea that one of our fans would want to buy a scarf with some 4th division team they don't support taking up half of it.

They're selling half-and-half scarves in the club shop, too.

They describe them as 'friendship scarves'.

I don't wish any Oxford fan harm, but I've got absolutely no desire to be 'friends' with one. I support Barnsley. Oxford are no more important to me than Wycombe: not very.

I don't have an issue with scarves per se but I do think the half and half scarves are very tacky. I wouldn't wear one myself but each to their own if others want to get one.

I've got a Histon v Leeds scarf. Wife is from Histon and we've seen them a few times. They were given away free though. I'd have probably slung it if the result hadn't been so good. Not going to get a reds / Oxford scarf though.
