It was a big mistake getting rid of Cleveland bridge plc off the job and giving the contract to the dutch. It would have been nearly finished by now imo.</p>

What they should have done is build a 200k staduim in the midlands at half the price.</p>

The coaching set up is a mess now since the unqualified Brooking was given the Director of Coaching Development job.</p>Im still waiting for them to tell me what a related course is. They say I have to do one but they dont know what one is.

i must agree with you on brooking , sorry ''sir brooking'' it's his plummy voice get you anywhere that grand tone of his , me i think he's too influential in all things (england) i think people like jack charlton should have a input ! but it won't happen . why cause he's too honest not a creeping get like brooking is. england england (england) .. run by a load of freeloaders who's only out to fill their pocket's ....

 

I dont agree that Jack Charlton should be brought up into the English coaching set up. To be honest he is very old school and in all truth is not a good coach. There is a big difference between being a good coach and being a good manager.</p>

Les Reid who the FA sacked for no reason other than the FA wanted Brooking brought in, was an outstanding Head of Football Development.

Talking of imigrant workers on the cheap......

I'm currently working in Peckham and there's two Polish labourers on the site who were loading out the scaffold with bricks. Now.... it wasn't the time-honoured hod for these two, nor the age-old method of carrying 12 bricks in a stack with your hands.... Oh no, siree, they were loading 12 bricks into a Sainsbury's vegetable basket (with plastic handle). They then proceeded to dump them on the scaffold boards - the brickies they were 'helping' (an i use the term lightly) were doing their B*ll*cks!
On the subject of Wembley, i seem to recall they closed the site down for a few days when someone was taking 'pot-shots' at the crane drivers. Apparently it was summat to do with the Russian Mafia.

Jack Charlton is an old man now and has no desire to get involved in the modern game.

He most certainly would not be the man to be the Director of Football Development. He simply doesn't fit the job description.
Neither do I think Brooking is. The position requires a well qualified coach who has a successful track record of coach education. The job is not about managing football teams its about coach education.

So put that in your pipe and shove it where the sun dont shine.

As I've already said, I don't have 24/7 to donate to BBS, the language in question happened Saturday night, I read it sunday morning, as I'm sure did many others, had I been around sat night I would have stood up for myself.  Plus, I can't remember asking Cazi, or site admin for help, I merely posted my thoughts. </p>
