2 top class teams, playing in an FA Cup Semi Final, for the prize of playing in the most famous Cup Final in the world.

Yet, with 15 minutes to spare, seats were empty in BOTH ends, as fans scrambled to get out of the stadium early for trains.

Crap kick off time, plus London fans who are more intent on catching a train than watching the match they've paid for.The competition has lost all its value.

There was a magic about two semis on a Saturday afternoon at neutral grounds. All gone.

Add in the fact that 30,000 Spurs fans will have been fuming at a disgraceful and shambolic referring performance - nothing to do with catching the train home.

Nothing magical about losing 5-1 and being screwed by the officials and former England captain

'and former England captain' ... EH?! How have they been screwed by JT? He merely appealed for the goal, you wouldn't do the same? Regardless of whether he's admitted it didn't go in or not. The officials fault non-the-less.

Yes it should have been played yesterday but then Liverpool FC would have had something else to whinge about.

TV schedules and money have ripped the heart and soul out of football. An FA cup semi at six o'clock on a Sunday night - an absolute disgrace and just shows the contempt the FA and the ruling bodies have for the fans.

    my thoughts,

1st place, 2nd, 3rd Place Champs League and the 4th team from our league to enter champs league is FA. Abolish all Prem teams entering League cup and make this a football league competition. 4th 5th 6th to enter europa league thats what I think. It would give the magic of the cup back

It's not even the last game of the season, which it always used to be.

No sympathy for the FA though. They caused this by jumping in with the PL.

They play on the anniversary of Heysel. Bradford play on the anniversary of the fire. Man Utd play on the anniversary of Munich. I don't see why Liverpool are allowed to be treated as a special case. Hard enough for Chelsea to beat Barca without one less day to prepare.
