This in spades ^^^^^^^^ Imagine a family of 4. all reserved, not reserved+. Spending 4 times as much as someone else. Imagine folk who have broke the bank to pay for a reserved. Then being told Reserved + be given priority. With no rules in place to validate that. I am reserved + btw.
It is but that should have no bearing on the + they’ll be plenty of occasions this season for them to exercise their privileges. But once in a while occasions wasn’t part of the deal .
It falls under force majeure not ST privileges. Home tickets weren’t part of the deal . All home tickets are equal.
In turn how would you treat a bubble that had + member but others that were just members - the connotations never end.
Pretty obvious in the event we managed to turn the semi round and get to the final, the ballot would be run the same as yesterday. Any finger pointing should be at the pri<ks who allow 20k for an FA Cup, but only half that for a game 3 weeks later.
Just knew this split membership would bring abart discontent. Personally would hope to see us returning back to all the season tickets being the same.
It’s been a bit of a shame but I reckon the majority still probably agree there shouldn’t have been a difference between R and R+ Unique and completely unexpected set of circumstances, that R+ was never designed for. People also probably have different reasons for going R+ I have three R+ tickets. I don’t go to away games. I went R+ because it throws a few more quid at the Club. Some of the comments on social media have been a bit mad. Typically ‘I deserve a ticket more than them because…’ followed by criteria which specifically suit their personal situation. Whichever of the four teams get to Wembley, some of their most ardent fans are probably going to miss out, which really is a disgrace given the 20k allowed for the FA Cup would be enough for all ST holders of any of the 4 Clubs.
There’s almost certainly more than 4000 people who got reserved+. Imagine buying a season ticket and not even getting a chance to enter a ballot for Wembley.
It was iFollow access to midweek away games (during COVID), a shirt and priority for away games. Oakwell holds more people than season ticket holders anyway so you’d never need priority for that (and a season ticket should always be enough anyway) and whilst Wembley is neutral rather than away, it would normally always hold more than our season ticket holders so no need for priority for that.
It's a bull**** decision after just having 20,000 in for the cup final. And should we get there, I imagine (from this point, I'm just guessing, with education) it'd be the same 'pot luck' as it was for the Swansea game. All members in a ballot, and 4,000 get lucky. Reserved+ was designed to give priority to members for popular away games. For cup ties. Plus a free shirt and other bits and pieces. Never was it designed to favour folk during a pandemic and a Wembley play-off final. In normal times, we'd get 35,000 tickets for such an event and even then, probably not sell them all. In my opinion, if you've bought a season ticket (membership), you get priority for such a ticket. Which stings folk who don't buy them, but often pay more over a season on the day. I was that guy some years ago. But it's the only fair way to do it. But again, I'm just guessing here. And, I hope as a club we have this headache to deal with from Sunday...
If we did get to Wembley would ‘Organisers’ of the various Supporters Clubs get perhaps 2 or 3 priority tickets? I can see a good argument as to why they should, and I hope the club would be open and transparent about this. I also hope this did not happen yesterday as that is totally different
I think priority should be given to all current season ticket holders that attended both the Wembley play off finals, the Cardiff final and the Johnstone's paint trophy final
