So it should be. Cost close to £1bn. Millennium cost about £200m. If that. No sliding roof at Wembley? Piss poor. Don't get me started about there being no twin towers. Playoff final 2000. Still remember being on the train and catching the first glimpse of the twin towers. Hair stood up on the back of the neck time. I'm sure a big arch won't have the same effect.
Took my cousin well over an hour to get away from the carpark. I guess getting people away quicker needs to be looked at ha ha ha. What was with the empty seats again? You would think they would have them out of camera view.
I think the debenture folks have the seats near the tunnel, as well as the middle tier.
It does look a bit ****.

I think that Wembley does have a sliding roof. Out of a lot of things at Wembley, one of the more impressive things were the hand dryers, dried your hands in about 5 seconds, nearly ripped your skin off meanwhile though
RE: I think It does have a sliding roof, but not in the same way as the Millennium. The roof at Cardiff is designed to close fully to keep out the elements. The design of the roof at Wembley is to allow more of the elements in - it's usual position is "closed" but that is just to cover the stands. They can retract it to expose part of the stands which allows the sunlight to get to the pitch, they've done this because of the height of the stands and otherwise the grass wouldn't get any sunlight.
RE: I think the debenture folks have the seats near the tunnel, Why don't they give Club Wembley seat holders a certain timescale to claim their seats for each match and then re-sell the unclaimed ones?
the club wembley members can't get the seats for playoff games, so its stupid that they didnt go to the clubs, i know derby and west brom would have sold them
RE: I don't think they have to "claim them" though I'm saying they should have to claim them. I know that's not what is happening at the moment.
OVERALL they shouldn't have even had this club wembley thing, stupid idea, means us normal fans will never be able to get the good seats at wembley
typical Millennium stadium: £126 million Roof that closes properly Pitch that can be moved outside to grow and can be completly swapped for another pitch if needed Wembley: £800 million Roof cannot close fully, some seats still get wet Pitch not designed to be moved. Why can the FA never do anything right?
i went to blackpool game with my mate n we were 10 rows from the front and got absaloutely soaked, the roof is crap
We saw Wembley... In the distance as we were driving to QPR away last season, the arch looked pretty impressive. Driving past it on the way home it looked even better when it was lit up. Can't wait to have a close up look for real.
this is the arch as we wer cumin away..... http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/4900/englandvbrazil2007041ac8.jpg
