In a way I hope we lose next week. The last thing we need is Howard not putting himself about (not seen the game today with not been able to get a ticket with the box office not answering the phone). If we go through does that mean that Howard will be not putting in 100% again? Nailed on relegation if we win next Sunday. What the hell has happened to our season??? The cup run means nothing to me as the league should be priority and is obviously suffering. The glory hunters maybe bothered about the cup run but I would thing a proper fan is more bothered about staying up than a day trip to London.
Why blame the ticket office for not getting a ticket when you could have payed on the gate. Surely dont reply with "well if they dont answer then how do i know if i could have payed on the gate)
As a proper fan though you must realise the cup run is partly to blame for the position we have fallen into.
agree with you in some respect, but surely this is a situation that we haven't been in for a long time (can you remember 1912)
I am sick and tired of hearing about PROPER FANS FFS No-one is a proper fan, ther is no such thng. There are people that spend every minute and every penny to follow the Reds, there are people that go to home games, there are people hat only go to a few games every season. Everyone of those are Barnsley supporters. None of the above are plastic, they are all real people. How would t look to the rest of the Country if Barnsley only turned up with 7,000 fans at Wembley??? Every team in the Semi finals will have some Fans theat hardly go to watch them andthat wanted to go to Wembley for the atmosphere and occasion, we are no different to every other club in the Country. (blagger) (blagger) (blagger)
Not only that but there is a chance That a few of those going for the Wembley experience may even start to watch the odd game next season when we visit the MK Dons etc
The way I see it. If we stay up and make a few good signing with the money we've made we could have a good season next year once Da Silva is back. Would he want to play in League 1? And also Donny would probably be in a higher league than us. How would woking with their fans be after that for a short while? Go down and then who wants to join us? And I definately don't want to be goint to the likes of Yeovil instead of the Pigsty next season. A lot of fans aren't bothered about that and won't go to Yeovil next year. I've been to wembley a few times now and going isn't a big deal for me.
I hope we don't go down but what ever will be,will be ,we're going to Wembley for the first time in an FA Cup Semi-Final for 97 years with a chance to get to the final and win it.....this week B*ll*cks to the league
But we are owned by local people who are fans not American buisness men who will leave at the drop of a hat if things go tits up, if Northern Rock can go to the wall so can Man Utd
Going to Wembley to see Barnsley is a big deal for me Only done it once before in my lifetime, and then a playoff final we lost May never get to Wembley in the cup again in my lifetime, fairly likely to see more promotions and relegations though
i agree with farnham red dont think in my lifetime we will see barnsley at wembley in a cup semi or final maybe in a play off final but def not in a fa cup final unless we play in that mickey mouse cup thats being played 2moz
Good post, mate. Grimsby taking 30,000 to Wembley tomorrow in the emulsion cup. Been getting home crowds as low as 3,000 this seaon.
