Driving down on Setdi and stopping at a mates at Wimbledon (Several beers !). The question is what do i do on Sunday ? Leave the car at Wimbledon and tube it to Wembley and then back to Wimbledon or should i drive the car to Wembley and set off home from there ? Is there anywhere to park ?

    Any ideas please ?

Well there's supposed to be a tube strike starting at 6.30 on sunday so I wouldn't leave the car in Wimbledon. Why not drive over to Harrow and Wealdstone station and get the overland train there to wembley central station. Takes 9 minutes. (If you park near Wembley it will take you hours to get away).

Drive to Kilburn. Loads of offstreet parking over behind the High Rd - residents permits in the week but don't apply at weekends. Plenty of boozers round there, then take a Silverlink train the short 16 minute journey to Wembley. I did check times and I think there are 3 or 4 trains every hour. Train back to your car afterwards and you're then pretty well placed for the M1 - straight up Cricklewood Broadway and on at Staples Corner.
