In the first half Hamilton were by far the better team with none other than Alex Neil running the midfield for them. Hamilton drifted out of the game in the second half and Raith won 2-0. The standard wasn't any different from most of the games we see down at Oakwell.

Funny incident where the ball was kept in play by hitting the linesman, who was stood on the touch line. The ball dropped for a Raith player and they nearly scored from the resulting cross. This was only a few minutes after the same linesman gave Raith a penalty, so if Raith. Had scored from the second incident the Hamilton players would have lynched him!

Alex Neil was brought in as a replacement after the sale of Cgaig Hignett. I shall say no more.
