Went to Southampton v Ipswich last night....

    some free tickets from work....

    Southampton very very poor, no pace , no movement ( sound familiar !! )

    Ipswich passed them off the park and should have won by plenty , sains goalkeeper made at least 5 great saves to keep them in it. southamptons best player ( surman) ended up playing left back.. see its not only davey ! and until they brought wright phillips off the bench showed very little...

    crowd got on there backs at 2 - 2 , but were fantastic when they were 2 - 1 down.. strange !

    Ian, don't give us false hope with this Southampton had no pace etc. Unless Davey can motivate the players it is going to be tough on Saturday. Hope i am wrong like. See you in the Giddy Bridge between 12 and 12.30.

    yep mate they were bad... really bad ! im not saying we are any better of course !! they brought a couple of subs on who will prob start on saturday , wright phillips and big lad up front called pekhark...
    looked there 2 best players actually

    I think it was Wright Philips who came on as sub last year at Oakwell and turned the game around for Saints.
    Good win for Pompey in UEFA Cup
