...so isolated and just hit aimless balls up to 'em.

But that second half performance was as good as we've seen all season and we're now picking up points. We play like that (which we know we can) then we'll finish mid table. Tactics still worry me, mind...

Why we play Cog on wing I will never know. Second half when they both played more direct down middle was far more effective. I would drop Mellis and play McCourt and Cwyska down the flanks to feed them both with crosses etc.

i'd still just switch to 3-5-2. this obsession with 4's has caused chaos

Problem is we're getting bugger all from central midfield.

    Agreed.

Play Paddy in the hole behind the front 2.
    Jim or Wiseman wide right
    RNL wide left
Perkins n Etuhu in the middle.

    Not been impressed with Fox.

Wgen Perkins n Etuhu are on top of their game they compliment one another as a pairing. Would also give Paddy more freedom just iff the front 2.

Agree about Fox and McCourt but don't want to see those two playing CM together. Etuhu has been awful last two games and Perkins becomes increasingly frustrating with his constant back passing.

The Ipswich defence did a great job of keeping them out of the game to be fair, although by concentrating on them it did allow our midfield a lot more space which allowed us to (amazingly) dominate large parts of the game last night. I wasn't expecting much but on reflection we really should have won it.
