I stopped coming on here due to the pessimistic and negative few. It wore me down. From day 1 I've always thought that hillcroft were looking to build and develop, and that they had a plan. My conviction has never wavered. Tonight was just an illustration of what we can achieve. Just one result but a manifestation of what they're doing to our club. I can't remember all the n'er sayers but they know who they are and me be now they might just be humble enough to admit that our management team are doing the right things. It would be good to see those people giving praise where praise is due. Consider it to be confession time guys, a bit like a weapons amnesty.........please feel free to post under: "My name is ........,I was wrong and I promise to try and be more patient" Betcha none of them post ! I can understand the euphoria of the win and performance but you are stirring something up that you say has kept you from coming on here. Just enjoy the moment they dont come around to often. Cheers mi dears.
You are almost as bad - just as a drubbing at Brighton was a bad result this was a great result - we will have more bad results and more good results as the season progresses. But I dont really see a lot of point on picking one one performance either good or bad to do the I told you so posts Apart from Brighton we have actually been playing well and for me that is the key thing
Just said as much to Hemseraldho after he pm'd me. Gloating 'I told you so' is just as crap n'er mind who's doing it. I can count on one hand complete performances such as that in 30 odd seasons. ENJOY IT!!!
Couldn't give a sh 1 t about told u so. Totally couldn't. Positive encouragement will help us improve. As will patience. Patience is key. I've learnt that in the 52 seasons I've been watching during which I've seen a damned sight more than 5 complete performances. )
