    They did the double over us the season we sacked Steve Parkin, and beat us in the FA Cup the season after(?)

    I used to live in Northampton, I always went along to their local derbies with Peterborough United. I also carried out my work experience there with their ex physio Den Casey.

    so did I and much as it pains me to say this you are spot on with your assesment of our performance. I might be remembering wrong but werent they in the 4th division then so a league below us - in any case they were much better than us on the day

    I remember the 4th Div days as well (just) but as a kid they seem fond memories now, especially as we got promoted in my 2nd season under Mr Clarke.
